The troops are receiving their boxes -the emails are starting to arrive.

Greetings Brian and Kellie,
Just a quick note to you and all of the volunteers at KFDI and the "Christmas
in a Box" project.  I received your packages a few days ago and wanted to send
my appreciation and the appreciation of my co-workers.  Your packages were a
welcome surprise and we appreciate them very much!  It is always nice to know
people at home care, especially during the holiday season.  On a personal
note, I thought it was really cool to get packages from my favorite morning
radio personalities; I listen to you every morning on my way to work from Rose
Hill to McConnell AFB.
Thank you once again and on behalf of all of us, we wish you a safe and
healthy holiday season! GO (Rose Hill) ROCKETS!!

John J. Jaykoski, Master Sergeant, USAF

Your care packages arrived in Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan today. Myself and A1C Barilov were quick to share the contents with all of our buddies. A1C Barilov hails from Anchorage, Alaska and myself from Newton, Kansas. We'd like to send our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to your staff and volunteers, and a shoutout to the City of Wichita for their support. It definitely brings a piece of home to this corner of the globe. Best wishes for a joyous holiday season!

Good morning Kellie and the KFDI team! I am currently stationed overseas and recently received a care package from your team. I want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone involved with getting these items to me and my team. Your support makes the weeks fly by. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.-

TSgt Jennifer Henderson

We have a shortfall because of the tremendous support this year.  We send large flat rate USPS APO/FPO boxes.  The boxes ship for the flat rate of $15.90, regardless of the weight.

Please make a cash or check donation at any Credit Union Of America Branch in the Wichita area.  Securely donate cash at any location by designating it to go to the: KFDI Christmas In A Box Fund, or make a check payable to:  KFDI Christmas In A Box Fund.

Help Send Boxes To Our Deployed Troops

This project is made possible with the help or our community partner

Brian & Kellie's Christmas In A Box Project sends boxes of Christmas decorations, snacks, toiletries, entertainment items and cards & letters to Kansas troops serving overseas during the holiday.

Our goal is to touch as many of the troops overseas as we can, to let them know we support them and are thinking of them back home while they serve their country, away from their home and family.

Each box is filled with a variety of items, along with cards and notes from home.  Our troops tell us they really love the heartfelt messages they receive.

We can't do this without your help!!  Please volunteer to help pack the soldier boxes at any of the Christmas In A Box packing events outlined below.  Children are welcome to help too!  This is a great family activity.
