Christmas In A Box is a project to send boxes of Christmas decorations, snacks, toiletries, entertainment items and cards & letters to Kansas troops serving overseas during the holiday.

Hundreds boxes you helped pack will be in the hands of our American heroes by Christmas. Thanks to the fabulous volunteers who came to the packing events to help pack the boxes (especially Paula and Betty!)   Thanks to our tremendous supporters, who hosted packing events.

And, a special GIANT thank you to all who donated items and did donation drives at your schools and businesses.

Donations are critical to the success of this project.  We count on our KFDI family to come together and bring donated items to one or more of the packing events scheduled (details below.)

If you would like to hold a donation drive at your workplace or school, we would love to help you.  We have a sign you can use to post on donation boxes below.  And, for larger donations, we can arrange pick up and delivery to one of the packing events.

THANK YOU ALL FOR DONATING TO THE POSTAGE FUND!  WE HAVE MORE THAN ENOUGH TO SEND THIS YEAR'S PACKAGES.

The cost to send the packages is substantial.  Unfortunately, there is no free shipping to APO/FPO addresses.  The most cost effective way to send the boxes is by using the USPS Flat Rate APO/FPO boxes.  The boxes ship for the flat rate of $13.45, regardless of the weight.  We utilize the boxes to the  maximum potential, while still taking care to insure the items packed inside arrive overseas in good condition.

Please make a cash or check donation at any Credit Union Of America Branch in the Wichita area.  You can securely donate cash at any location by designating it to go to the KFDI Christmas In A Box fund, or make a check payable to:  KFDI Christmas In A Box Fund.
