OPERATION FREEDOM MEMORIAL
Help build a new memorial to the men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice during the war on Terror. The Operation Freedom Memorial will honor 90 Kansas servicemembers who made the ultimate sacrifice, serving in Operation Desert Storm, the attacks of September 11th, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and other terrorist attacks since September 11, 2001.
$20,000 is needed to get construction underway in Wichita's Veterans memorial Park.
Help us raise the $20,000 needed by reserving a Service Stone. These granite service stones will be used to pave the area around the Operation Freedom Memorial.
These solid granite Service Stones can honor any veteran or active duty service member, from any state, living or deceased, who have served our country. These granite pavers can be engraved with personalized information to honor a veteran for generations to come.
This is a wonderful way to honor your son or daughter, husband or wife, father or mother, co-workers and friends. Reserve a service stone and honor the service of someone in your family tree who served long ago.
The solid granite pavers are larger than a normal sized paving stone at 6 inches tall by 10 inches wide, 2 inches thick and are cut from gray granite.
