I always tell people that if I didn't get into radio, I may have ended up an over the road trucker. Me, the open road, my BIG RIG!! I love long road trips. Always have. So imagine my excitement when I heard the news that that some brainy type had taken the time to create and optimize a route so I could take an EPIC U.S. ROAD TRIP. Let the debate rage over Daylight Savings Time. I found this VERY informative and eye opening video explaining EVERYTHING you may ever want to know about Daylight Savings Time!! After I finished watching it, I was ready to do away with it....you can make up your own mind.
Every once in a Millenium a song comes a long that defines a generation of Karaoke singers. It took one Karaoke host with a video camera and crafty editing skills to make us realize that maybe ...just maybe...that generation needs a new anthem or they just need to sing it better. Enjoy!
I like a lot of science fiction, but I'm not a space travel expert. Mind you, a former High School classmate of mine named Chris Cassidy is. He works for NASA, has been to the Space Station, has fought for our country.....a regular Captain America.
It always makes me happy when students and kids rally around the idea of "giving back"! It's important that if they are going to be the "future generation" that they understand the importance of being good citizens of the world we live in.
