Gonna "kill two birds (or apes) with one stone" with my blog today. A Monday Afternoon Movie Review and then a question.
First, the review: Dawn of the Planet of the Apes was BRILLIANT. Okay, I might be a little jaded because I love science fiction. However, with that said, you don't have to be crazy about Sci-Fi in order to enjoy this movie. The absolute best part was the special effects. I had the same reaction as I did with the first Jurassic Park. I had to keep on reminding myself it wasn't real and it was all computer generated. Well done.
Now, the question and it comes from an incident that happened in the movie theater. About half way through the movie (at one of the quietest parts as luck would have it) ....this woman about 10 rows behind me comes COMPLETELY UNGLUED and starts yelling at someone who was kicking her seat. That person replied with "well, turn your phone of" and it escalated from there. My point, here are 2 adults acting anything but, about something that could have been handled without security. So, there's the back story....HERE'S THE QUESTION.
When you're watching a movie and someone is on their smart phone. How do you handle it? Do you say something or ignore it.....(let's hope you don't start kicking the back of their seat). DO YOU SPEAK UP OR TUNE OUT....I want to know.
till next time
