Nashville is New Orleans with banjos.  There is music in every direction.  There are young people here with a dream of stardom.  There are old pro's here whose dream is still alive.  Live music stages are full and whoa baby people are watching.  The locals stay in their homes.  This place is everyone else.  Fans have come from everywhere to see and hear what Nashville has to offer.  In one night we saw, a kid with his mother in the audience, faceless songwriters performing instantly recognizable siongs they'd written - and Ronnie Dunn.  We've all heard the phrase, "if walls could talk."  Nashville invokes more.  This whole place is a story that's still being written.  I must come back.

Tonight I accept a CMA award.  Only now am I beginning to grasp what that means here.  A man named "Cowboy" upon learning that I'm gonna get a CMA, bought me a Coke.

Nashville is magic.  We bring that magic to Kansas.  Seems pretty simple doesn't it.  By the way, when ya see me, to celebrate, I'll buy you a Coke.
