So what do Gary Allan, The Blue Angels and my niece Caitlyn have in common???

I saw them ALL last weekend! In San Francisco no less. AND I also saw a new artist, Kacey Musgraves AND Alcatraz!

I could not have packed more fun into one weekend. Since I'm the music director here at KFDI I was invited by MCA/Mercury record labels to San Francisco for a showcase. SO...the first night I saw Kacey Musgraves. She is an exceptional's a little snippet from that night of her singing her debut single - "Merry Go Round"...

THEN, the next day my niece and I went to Angel Island and Alcatraz. Here is a video of Cait at Angel Island - we absolutely know nothing about bridges as I do believe we got them completely backwards:

So after Angel Island we got back on the boat and went to Alcatraz. I have always wanted to go to Alcatraz but the problem was that while we were there in San Francisco is was Fleet Week so how could you tour Alcatraz when The Blue Angels are doing a show? Cait and I found a great place to watch them:

THEN...the highlight of the whole weekend (as if all the rest wasn't enough) we got back to the hotel (barely but that's a long story) in time to change our clothes, get on a bus, and head to Napa Valley to see Gary Allan in a private, acoustic show at Inglewood Winery (owned by Francis Ford Coppola). It was a BEAUTIFUL setting, we had an amazing dinner with lots of wine and then Gary Allan took the stage:
