What I learned today in Nashville...

  • Print

 What a day.

We were scheduled to do 33 interviews and we did 31. BUT in record time! We pretty much started around 9:30 and were done 2:00.

Here are some things that I thought were interesting today:

1.  My first interview was with Dustin Lynch and my last one today was with Jake Owen. I'm probably the only one who cares. But for some reason, I always like to know who I started with and who I finished with!

2.  Hunter Hayes is going to be walking backwards during his CMA performance.

3.  Eric Church said his new CD "The Outsiders" is probably the best CD he will EVER record.

4.  Gary Allan has his own clothing store in Nashville. High end. Primarily men's but has a "teeny rack of clothing for woman" and by rack. He meant rack. Of clothes.

5.  Dierks explained his conversation about circumcision with his daughters.

6.  Ronnie Milsap had a doctor's appointment and had to leave early.

7.  Ashley Monroe didn't show up. We assume because she just got married.

8.  Steve Wariner has a art show at the Tennessee State Museum. He does watercolors.

9.  Sheryl Crow had to get going to pick up her kids from school.

10. Rodney Atkins is engaged to Rose Falcon. She is a songwriter. She co-wrote Eric Pasley's new single "Friday Night"...with Eric Paslay.

11. The Swon Brothers are a GREAT interview.

Then, after all of that I went to listen to Eric Church's new CD. Here's what I think:

I LOVE ERIC CHURCH'S NEW CD!!!!!!!!!!!! "The Outsiders" comes out in February. Crazy, crazy, crazy good.

Now off to a Chris Young party! AND I have to get ready for 39 interviews tomorrow. And I am going to see The Time Jumpers with Charlie Worsham tonight. He is super cute. And talented.
