What an absolutely incredible show this past weekend. I can't thank them enough for putting it on. I go every year they host an Open House and every year I am absolutely blown away. Going to the open house makes me proud, patriotic, humbled and absolutely overwhelmed. I was like a little kid taking video - so here are some of my highlights.

I'll admit it - I love ghost stories. I love ghost shows. I love "Celebrity Ghost Stories", "The Haunting", "Ghostly Encounters"..."My Ghost Story" and on and on. Yes, I watch them all. Actually, I lived in a haunted house when I was a kid for six years! You'd think that after that I wouldn't be so fascinated but maybe that is exactly why I AM fascinated!

In honor of Easton's new CD "All Over The Road" coming out today - I thought I would repost a super funny, undercover, video we shot at the Listener Appreciation Show this year. I was chatting with Easton today and we talked about this and if you haven't seen it - you should. AND go buy the new CD...it's a straight-down-the-road COUNTRY CD. I really love his sound. Money well spent.

I got a new toy for Buddy. It's the weirdest toy ever and says that dogs love it. I was wondering if he would but he is obsessed with it - to the point I have to put it up because I don't think he'd ever quit playing with it. That said, it makes me laugh so hard to watch him play with it that I can't quit giving it to him!!!! Here's a video I shot of him...

I loved that show. I mean, I LOVED that show. Stephen and Eric are terrifically talented and they brought some great musicians with them - Jason was on guitar and Hubert on drums. Literally, sitting on a drum box. And we raised almost $3200 and all of that money goes to the Christmas in a Box Postage Fund - that will send a LOT of boxes to the troops this Christmas Season...

I love my neighborhood. I have some of the best neighbors - and there are a couple ladies who live a couple houses down from me and I just love them. Katherine lives there with her 91-year-old mother (who is still quite cantankerous!) and they have a Treat Tree. They have a container that they put dog treats in for the neighborhood dogs. So twice every day, Buddy and I go to the Treat Tree. And if Buddy should see one of them he gets VERY excited. He obviously knows who puts the treats out for him.

Primarily because I love dogs...but this story has such a happy ending! A happy story, yet where the heck was she for three years and how did she end up 830 miles from home??? No one will ever know but at least she's back at home now!

Now what could be better than that? You go out and watch a terrific, acoustic show from Love and Theft and all the money we raise will send boxes to our Kansas troops deployed overseas for Christmas. Now THAT is a win/win!

We don't know either...but you will find out tonight at 6:00 our time with her live chat. She has "exciting news" that she wants to share tonight. My hunch is it has to do with a new single and album coming out. I could be totally wrong. I frequently am. She will also be taking questions from her fans too - if you want to ask her something you can submit them directly into the live social chat during the webcast using your YouTube account.

Now I can't relate completely...I have never been in an Olympic diving event, or any Olympic event for that matter. But I did do a major back buster off the high board.

OK, so maybe he broke the rules a bit. Usually when you compete you don't get so excited that you can't help yourself and you immediately do it again. But you see, Dog Olympics are just different that way. That and you can kind of go at your own pace...as you can see in the video.

If there were Dog Olympics I'm sure Buddy would be a fine contender - and maybe I'd get a trip to London to watch him compete! I don't know that he has the drive to actually get the gold - but at least he finished in fine form!!!!!

I saw this video and it made me laugh outloud. I had to re-watch it a few times because it just cracks me up. My favorite is the second dog that goes in for ice cubes. He really has it figured out by just hitting it with his paw.
