Praise Jesus! Or, “Praise Cheesus!”
The face of Jesus Christ has been found on a three-cheese pizza at a pizza shop in Brisbane, Australia.
The shop’s owner says she made the divine discovery last week when she pulled the pizza pie out of the oven, “I can definitely say this isn't a fake,'' she said. "The three-cheese pizza always comes out with very different colors.''
What to do with a three-cheese pizza bearing the face of Jesus?
The pizza is currently vacuum-packed and awaiting the highest bidder on eBay, where the pie is being auctioned off for charity.
Is it sacreligious to bid on the Cheesus Pizza? No, says Australian Catholic University associate professor Patrick McArdle, saying the sighting "can't be a bad thing," but he also believes that "Pizza Cheesus" is "almost definitely not a miracle."
