Making Veterans' Families Proud

  • Print

In the cemetery in Sedgwick, Kansas the tribute to the sacrifices of Veterans is a small cannon and a flagpole.  There is no plaque or monument.  The American Legion Post 268 in Sedgwick would sure like to change that.

Jeremy Liby, a member, asked that we get the word out on their 2nd Annual Veteran's Memorial Block Party this Saturday, June 18th in downtown Sedgwick.

Here are the details:

The American Legion in Sedgwick is having their 2nd Annual Veteran's Memorial Block Party Fundraiser to raise money to build a veterans memorial in Sedgwick. The cost is $10/adult and $5/child and includes a food ticket. There will be a Dunk Tank, Inflatables, Snow Cones, Funnel Cakes and much more! Bring the whole family!
