Who is that woman in the police car on The Closer tonight? She sure will look familiar to a lot of people here in Wichita.
Why it's Christine Sementelli. The Wichita woman won a role on the tv show and her episode airs tonight on TNT at 8pm if you want to watch her acting debut.
Christine was the highest bidder for the role during a charity auction benefiting the Child Advocacy Center of Sedgwick County. The CACSC coordinates agencies and helps children during child abuse investigations.
The experience was donated by Mike Berchem, producer of the show. His wife, Mary, lived in Wichita and is the founder of The Brian David Higby Fund. The fund supports activities to help at-risk children.
So Christine told KWCH TV a little about her experience on the show. She played a police officer and will be in three scenes. She says her favorite part of the role was riding with a stunt driver in a police car.
She doesn't know the entire storyline for her episode and is excited to watch it Monday night. She joked "You better watch closely because I may only be on there for a blink of an eye!" She says she has a pretty low-key personality but admits she was thrilled and excited when she saw the TV preview.
Watch Christine tonight (8/6) at 8pm on TNT. But, remember, don't blink!!!!!
