Move over Shroud of Turin, there's a new tarp in town.

A paint-stained drop cloth has revealed an image of Jesus Christ. The Massachusetts painter says he has used the drop cloth for years but recently when he unfolded it, the face of Jesus was staring back at him. Brian Krantz of Saugus, MA told his hometown newspaper, "It leaves me speechless." The sacred sight was so staggering that Krantz said he and his buddy decided to take an early lunch and figure out what to do with it. "I can't deny this," Krantz said. "This is what it is. It looks like Jesus Christ."

As a lasting tribute, Krantz said he'll frame the cloth.  Reminds me of the person who found the Jesus face in the bird droppings on their car windshield, and the woman who saw Jesus' face in dirty socks (see below.)   God does work in mysterious ways.
