Kate Middleton is giving birth, while Cake Middleton is about to be shipped to Kensington Palace.

Cake Middleton is a life-size cake made in the image of Kate cradling a baby made by a Houston cake designer. " Who Made The Cake! owner Nadine Moon told ABC that Cake Middleton stands tall at 5 feet 6 inches, and weighs more than 200 pounds.

To create the full-scale replica, she created a framework with PVC piping and wood, then sculpted Kate’s torso out of Rice Krispies Treats. After that they built Kate's image out of dense butter pound cake topped with layers of vanilla and amaretto butter cream frosting before covering her in a white chocolate fondant. She is wearing a dove gray satin colored gown with lace accents and handpainted silver metallic sparkles. The baby is wrapped in a blanket, and you can see the little face peeking out.

The life-size cake took a week to build and was displayed over the weekend at the Houston Bridal Extravaganza Show.

Plans are to ship the cake to Kensington Palace. They have reached out across the pond to make the offer. Some emails have been exchanged and things look good to get the cake in front of the royal couple.
