Carrie Underwood's voice is heard as the closing credits roll during the highly-anticipated 'Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Trader.' The superstar, who penned the song, 'There's a Place for Us,' with hit tunesmiths Hillary Lindsey and David Hodges, calls the opportunity an unforgettable experience, and one she owes to her mother's former career. "My mom used to read them in her classes when she was teaching. So I was definitely intrigued," Carrie explains to the Wall Street Journal. "The books were very entertaining. You could have a little imagination and still be able to read them and see pictures in your head. When I find books like that I always get very excited."

Jake Gyllenhaal called the cops on the paparazzi trailing him and Taylor Swift in Los Angeles on Thursday, December 9th. The LAPD was quick to respond to Gyllenhaal’s call with a patrol car and reportedly even a helicopter. Gyllenhaal and Swift were cruising in an Audi Q7 when the incident happened. According to an X17.com photographer that was trailing the couple, Gyllenhaal “didn’t want anyone to get a shot of him and Taylor together.” Swift, 20, and Gyllenhaal, 29, featured together on the cover of the current issue of Us Weekly, taking an afternoon stroll in Brooklyn’s Park Slope neighborhood in New York City, in what appears to be a posed shot for which they were probably paid handsomely. The couple went public with their romance during the Thanksgiving Holidays after secretly dating for five weeks. They have spent private weekends with each other’s family.

Taylor Swift retains her hold on the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart this week, selling another 182,000 copies of 'Speak Now.' The album also moves back up to No. 2 on the Billboard 200, outsold only by Susan Boyle's holiday-themed 'The Gift.' 'Speak Now' has sold more than two million copies in just six weeks of release, and is already the third-best-selling album of 2010, behind Eminem's 'Relapse' and Lady Antebellum's 'Need You Now.'

Trace Adkins will once again be on the silver screen, this time as the leader of a biker gang. Trace has a small, yet memorable, part in the upcoming drama, 'The Lincoln Lawyer.' "[My role] is just a couple of [scenes]. I enjoy [acting] if I have time to do it," Trace says, "This is an easy thing to do. It takes literally three days out of my schedule. It's something that I can do and have fun doing." The flick stars Matthew McConaughey as a criminal defense attorney who uses his Lincoln Town Car as an office.

It's true that Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Swift are dating.  But a rumour that started this week has the two moving in together! The rumour says a source revealed to InTouch: "Jake is planning for a future with Taylor, so he'd like to buy a house that suits her tastes aswell as his... He's pretty sure that she's the one." The actor's representative is out with news this morning that the rumours that Jake asked Taylor to move in with him are completely false. According to GossipCop, a representative for the actor said the story is total "BS" as Jake hasn't asked Taylor to move in with him.

Take a look behind-the-scenes of Taylor Swift ‘s Cover Girl photo shoot. Taylor is the new face of Cover Girl, and her ads will hit tv and magazine in January.

Next year is looking up for country star Mark Wills. The singer will be one of the judges for the 90th annual Miss America Pageant, to be televised live from Las Vegas in January. Mark was on hand with the ladies of 'The View,' as the co-hosts announced the seven judges for Miss America in 2011. The View's own Joy Behar will sit alongside Mark at the judges table. Mark explains his connection to the beauty pageant, "I do a lot of work with Children's Miracle Network and have worked closely with them for the last couple of years," Mark tells The Boot. "Miss America is one of their spokespeople. They asked me if I'd be interested in judging the pageant, and I immediately said yes. I thought it would be an awesome opportunity to be a part of, and I am very grateful to have been asked to be one of the judges."
