Taylor Swift turns 21 Monday, December 13th. Taylor is hosting a low-key party with a seasonal theme, which is how she prefers to celebrate the milestone. "I love having a Christmas-themed birthday party so people can give each other presents at my birthday party, so it's not so much a spotlight [on my] birthday," Taylor tells Access Hollywood. "Especially with a 21st birthday, where people are like, 'Huh? Huh? What's she gonna do?' I didn't want it to be a crazy club thing. I just want it to be very me, and the me thing to do would be to have a Christmas birthday party."
Taylor was recently announced as the new face of CoverGirl Nature Luxe makeup. This week, ads with the singer's face surfaced, but the official launch of the campaign will happen next month. Being the newest face for the makeup company is something Taylor fantasized about in her early teens. "It's pretty crazy because I had this thing when I was younger ... I was like 13 when I got a subscription to 17 Magazine, and I would always flip to the CoverGirl ads," Taylor gushes. "It was always sort of a childhood dream for me."

Speaking of Garth on Larry King Live, there was a strange moment on the show during which Garth explains that he “lives on the dark side.” Larry asked Garth what he would be doing if he weren’t an artist. Garth answered, “I think you would probably be dealing with me on a different level. On the dark side, to tell you the truth.” When pressed, Garth said that he wasn’t sure if he would be a criminal but didn’t rule it out. But said, today his “dark side” comes out in his music.
