Miranda Lambert has decided to slim down a little.  Not that she is overweight....but you know those brides-to-be.  Miranda' is telling her new secret to slimming down, "Now instead of Cheetos, I choose almonds," she said of the major revision to her snacking routine. She isn't technically keeping track of the pounds she's shed, but she is down two sizes and admits the change is more than just the almonds-over-Cheetos rule. In the Jan. 10 issue of Us Weekly, she said she also steers clear of the dreaded white foods. "No mayonnaise, no potatoes or bread ... really just vegetables and meat," she said. What she will eat is healthy food like oatmeal, turkey, veggies and salad. She also does circuit training with Tony Boykin three times a week. And how does she know it's all working? New #1 song on the Billboard country chart this week.  Tim McGraw has scored a top song with "Felt Good On My Lips" in this last week of 2010.  Jason Aldean's "My Kinda Party" is #2 and Carrie Underwood is at #3 with "Mamas Song."

 

 

 

George Strait's tour with Reba McEntire and Lee Ann Womack comes in as the No. 1 country trek on this year's list of Pollstar's top-grossing tours. The Strait tour, which ranks at No. 14 overall, grossed $41.6 million over the course of 2010. The three will once again hit the road next year. Their first date is in Austin, Texas on January 14.  Strait was the 14th highest grossing performer among all music genres. Brad Paisley was 15th on the list, just ahead of Tim McGraw.  Paisley grossed $40.7 million for 65 shows and McGraw grossed $39.1 million for 65 shows.
