The Bellamy Brothers have a message for Britney Spears - "If I said you ripped off our song would you hold it against me?’ Britney's new single, “Hold It Against Me,” seems a bit all too familiar to David and Howard Bellamy. After hearing the pop star’s new single the Bellamy Brothers asked, “Didn’t we already do that?”  Their song 'If I Said You Had A Beautiful Body, Would You Hold It Against Me’ went #1. If you listen to the lyrics of Britney Spears’ new single, ‘Hold It Against Me,’ you’ll find some major similarities.”
The brothers knew something was up when the YouTube.com video for “If I Said You Had A Beautiful Body, Would You Hold It Against Me” soared by 270,000 views overnight. The brothers say they have no personal beef with Britney. But DAvid adds, "...in all honesty, we feel completely ripped off." See the two songs' videos below:

Taylor Swift really had her heart broken by Jake Gyllenhaal but it looks like we will never hear about the whirlwind romance in a song. A source close to Jake Gyllenhaal says Taylor has promised to not write a song about it.  We get the scoop from Showbizspy.com. “Jake is very uncomfortable with having his private life in the media which was one of the reasons he and Taylor didn’t work out,” explains a source close to the actor. “He and Taylor remain close friends and she has promised nothing from their relationship is going to end up in a song. She’s grown up a lot in the last year and understands that some things are not for her fans.”

Reba McEntire admits she's not doing too well with one of her new year's resolutions. On her official blog Tuesday, she updated fans on her resolution to learn to speak Spanish. "I guess you're wondering how my Spanish lessons are coming along. Well, I haven't had one lesson yet,” Reba wrote.  She wrote that three years ago she made the resolution to learn Spanish and bought the Rosetta Stone CD Program. Progress has been slow, “Last year I got it out of the box”, she wrote, “I have now downloaded it into my laptop. That's progress!”

Steel Magnolia released their debut album Tuesday on big Machine Records.  Joshua Scott Jones and Meghan Linsey won season 2 of CMT's Can You Duet in 2009 and have already had a top ten song on the chart with "Keep On Lovin' You."  You can listen to the entire album here.

Martina McBride is recording a new album.  She has decided to make her first album on her new record label, Republic Nashville, in Atlanta rather than her own studio in Nashville.  She and husband John arrived in Atlanta over the weekend to begin rehearsals.  Martina promises to keep fans up to date with photos and tweets on her Twitter page.  She posted a photo of her hubby, producer and some of the musicians hanging out after eating dinner.

In other Martina news, she will headline the Taste of the NFL food-tasting event in Dallas on February 5th, which is just part of the festivities leading up to this year's Super Bowl.
