Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal caused tongues to wag in Nashville when the former couple was spotted having dinner in Nashville restaurant Wednesday night near Taylor's apartment. A dinner patron a couple tables away claims the two were "not affectionate" during the meal. Maybe Jake he was just apologizing to Taylor in person. There has been no official statement from either Taylor or Jake.
Dierks Bentley will headline the 2011 Jagermeister Country Tour and it's coming to Kansas. The 30-city tour runs through mid-May and will feature Dierks with Josh Thompson. Each concert will also feature a local Jägermeister sponsored country act. 2011 Jägermeister Country Tour dates includes a stop in Salina Kansas on April 27th.
Alan Jackson is a man with out a record label. AJ left his longtime label, Arista Nashville and its parent company Sony Music. The announcement Thursday (Jan. 20) called it "an amicable parting," and "Sony Music Nashville wishes to thank Alan Jackson for their long association and the many hit records achieved as a result of that association." He has sold more than 50 million albums during his 22-year tenure at the label. A spokesperson for Jackson told CMT. com that several labels have already expressed an interest in working with him but that no decision has been made regarding a new recording contract.
