Gary LeVox from Rascal Flatts has a personal fitness trainer named Wes, and he has a secret about the country star that he’s sharing. In order to stay in shape on tour, LeVox has the latest infomercial craze, the Shake Weight, on his bus. “Y’all can make fun if you want to, but the Shake Weight is the real deal, I’m telling you,” LeVox insists in the video, which was uploaded to YouTube. “I don’t even have the man version — I got the chick version, like two-and-a-half pounds. It looks weird, I know. Don’t say anything. It works.” And to prove it, in the video he flexes his right bicep. The last shot leaves us with the ‘I Won’t Let Go’ singer’s best body builder pose, complete with appropriate grimace.

Billy Currington will perform his 10th Top 10 hit, Let Me Down Easy, on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno tonight (Jan. 27.)  The singer is ready to hit the road with Kenny Chesney on his 2011 'Goin' Coastal' Tour beginning March 17 in West Palm Beach, Fla.. He will open for Kenny during more than 50 dates at arenas including Wichita on April 16th.  We are still waiting on ticket on sale information for the Kenny Chesney concert.

American Idol has at least one country contestant going to Hollywood. Scott McCreery of Garner, N.C. is a 16 year old with a much older voice.  He sings like a seasoned veteran hardened by life’s experiences. For his audition in Milwaukee, Scotty sang Josh Turner‘s ‘Your Man.’ McCreery told the ‘Idol’ judges that he has been “singing country music my whole life” and that he started singing at the age of 1, learning from a lullaby his mama taught him.
