Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton almost got married six months ago according to Ronnie Dunn.  Ronnie says he was having dinner with Blake, Miranda, d Reba McEntire and her husband Narvel when they all started egging  the engaged couple on to go to one of the Vegas chapels and just tie the knot then and there.  Ronnie says "We were going to take them to one of those little wedding chapels!" They were ready to do it," Ronnie adds. "Honestly! Narvel [who is Blake's manager] thought we should probably stop it ... but they were ready to go. They were gonna do it!"

 

Joey + Rory, Jason Jones, Brett Eldredge and Troy Olsen are just a few of the newly-added names to the list of performers at Country Stampede, slated for June 23 - 26 in Tuttle Creek State Park in Manhattan, Kansas. As The Boot previously announced, Brad Paisley, Lady Antebellum and Eric Church will be the headlining acts for the four-day event, which is one of the biggest country music festivals in the United States. First they switch record companies and now Rascal Flatts is parting ways with their management company of ten years, Turner Nichols & Associates. The boys say they will always consider Trey [Turner] and Doug [Nichols] as part of their family.  But, Jay, Gary and Joe Don said in a statement they are looking for new representation.  Just last year the group moved to Scott Borchetta's Big Machine label. 

 

 

Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, Trace Adkins, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean and the Band Perry are the first performers announced for the 2011 CMA Music Festival, to be held June 9-12 in Downtown Nashville. "I used to come as a fan, on family vacation," Miranda Lambert admits. "Now it's all about the fans. We'll rock for them because they're awesome and dedicated."

 

No one is immune to catching Bieber fever... not even the country superstar trio Rascal Flatts.The Biebs and the Flatts will join forces for "That Should Be Me" on Bieber's new seven-song album "Never Say Never: The Remixes." Gary LeVox says he is now considered "cool" in his house because of the collaboration. The album will hit stores on Feb. 14, just three days after the premiere of his 3D movie "Never Say Never."
