Miranda Lambert's on the cover of the new Redbook magazine on newsstands now. In the interview inside, Miranda says the best piece of advice she was ever given was from Reba McEntire, who told her, “Always show up like a star. Always spring for that limo. If you appear like a star, people will treat you like that and you will be one." And, after she and Blake are married in May, there will be no babies for a while. Miranda says, “I have seven rescue dogs. Getting a puppy is pretty good birth control! About her life with Blake, she says they like to go hunting and fishing, but they also spend time just sitting on their porch and drinking beer when they are home at the same time. Blake and Miranda will be married on May 14th.
It was tough enough to get used to talking about Lionel Ritchie doing a country music album, but now we find out that Cher is going country. Famed Nashville producer Mark Bright says that Cher has turned to him to help produce her next album. He has produced for Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts, Reba McEntire and Sara Evans, just to name a few.
Why is Cher going country we ask. Mark explains, “Cher knows that her listeners also listen to country music. So she felt it was a natural thing to develop a country music relationship." Mark added,”Because we know each other, when she came to Nashville she thought of me."
Eddie Montgomery says he discovered that he had prostate cancer completely by accident. If it had not been for his son being in an accident in November, he may not have found out about his condition until much later. "My son had a four-wheeler wreck and trashed his shoulder in three places, so he had to go to a bone specialist," Eddie says he mentioned to his son’s doctor that his hip had been hurting, so the doctor offered up an x-ray on the spot. What the doctor discovered was a shadow on the prostate which led to the early diagnosis.
Sugarland will perform on this Thursday's (March 24) 'American Idol' results show. This will be Sugarland's first guest appearance on AI, following other country superstars like Shania Twain, Dolly Parton, Martina McBride Carrie Underwood, Kellie Pickler and Keith Urban.
