Darius Rucker will sing a song at the ACM Awards.  But this is no ordinary song.  This song was co-written by 25 developmentally disabled youngsters who attended the ACM Lifting Lives music camp last summer in Nashville.   Darius will perform the song with those co-writers by his side.  The song is called “Music from the Heart.” They composed the song with Chris Young and Brett James. The special performance with Darius and the campers will support the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center and its mission to improve the lives of young adults with developmental disabilities. For more information you can log on to www.acmliftinglives.org.

There was some wild speculation over whether Blake and Miranda would hold their wedding in his home state of Oklahoma,  her home state of Texas, or a neutral spot in Nashville.  In the end Miranda Lambert’s home state won the wedding sweepstakes, “I’m from there and it’s not too far from [Blake's home state] Oklahoma, so we thought it’d be a good place,” The couple are still trying to keep a lid on the city. “We decided we’re getting married in Texas, and that’s all I can say as far as that goes, obviously,” Lambert concluded.  We do know the wedding date is May 14th.
