Las Vegas has been nicknamed “Nashvegas” this past weekend with country stars tweeting about the ACM Awards. One of our favorite Tweets comes from quick witted Brad Paisley who wrote, "I believe I saw @DierksBentley's mattress impaled on a bronze statue outside the MGM this morning. Some guys just can't handle Vegas." Referring to a scene from the movie “Hangover.”

More country star tweets below:
Brad Paisley (@bradpaisley): "Is there somethin' I need to know? [re-tweeting a post from wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley] RT @Kimwilliamspais: Watching west coast ACMs, my youngest keeps looking at Toby Keith and shouting 'Daddy!'"

Blake Shelton (@blakeshelton): "Wow!! Had a crazy dream that I was on live TV making fun of people last night ... It was awesome!!!!!"

Brett Eldredge (@bretteldredge): "Walked by a guy in the hallway at 8:30 AM, and he told me to have a good night ... Dude definitely hasn't gone to sleep. Ohhhh Vegas."

Jake Owen (@jakeowen): "Damn ... Country music is ALIVE and WELL. I'm so proud to be a part of this format."

Dierks Bentley (@DierksBentley): "Favorite text of my career: 'Hey George and Nancy Jones here, love your new song. Watching you on the awards, so proud of you."

Taylor Swift (@taylorswift13): "This is one of the best nights I've ever had. Thank you so much."

The Band Perry's Reid Perry (@reidhperry): "Thank you everyone for the great honor YOU gave us last night. We absolutely cherish our friendship we have with each and every one of you."

Zac Brown Band (@zacbrownband): "Still a little starry eyed from last night's performance. Three straight nights in Vegas compounds the situation."

Some of the country stars also took advantage of the gaming tables in Vegas, like our man John Rich who called the Brian and Kellie show from a blackjack table Monday morning.  John told us he was “up”but he wouldn’t tell us just how well he was doing, ((Audio)) “I’m up pretty good, I’ll just leave it at that.”  John also had an announcement about his winnings, “I’m going to give my blackjack money to St. Jude, is that ok?”  According to John he was playing at “the big boy table” and said, “not bad for a trailer park kid to get to sit at the big boy table and play cards.”

Keith Urban didn’t win the Male Vocalist Of The Year award Sunday night, but he did win another pretty important award. Keith has been named "Country's Hottest Guy" by People magazine. Not, that he isn’t appreciative of his female admirers, but the 43-year-old singer says it's life with his better half and their two daughters that brings him the most happiness, way beyond fame or album sales.  Underneath Keith Urban on the list of handsome country stars in the special People issue is Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney and Blake Shelton.

Craig Morgan has a new record deal with Black River Entertainment. There are plans for Craig to release a new album later this year.  Craig exited his former record company, BNA in February this year, after scoring a couple of Top 10 hits in 2009 -- 'Love Remembers' and 'Bonfire' -- during his two year run with that label.

Carrie Underwood is doing everything she can to make sure everyone knows she is not pregnant! The newlywed says she has a sure-fire way to steer clear of those pesky baby bump, "[I] choose my wardrobe differently, because when I wear something a little baggier, I'm like, nope, people are going to think I'm hiding something, so I better not wear that," she explains to People Magazine, "I don't want people assuming that I am [pregnant] until I say that I am.
Carrie was red hot with her black mini skirt and pink extensions in her hair Sunday night for the ACM Awards.  Watch the video of her performance of “Undo It” with Steven Tyler of Aerosmith below:

Carrie will be out promoting the movie “Soul Surfer”, which opens nationwide this Friday night. Catch her Wednesday night on the Tonight Show With Jay Leno (10:35CT on NBC) and Thursday on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show. In the movie, Carrie plays a church youth leader who counsel a young surfer who loses an arm in a brutal shark attack.

This Sunday (4/10) 'The Judds,' a six-episode reality mini-series premieres on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN.)  Cameras followed Naomi and Wynonna during their final concert tour,  capturing their emotional journey as they work to heal their relationship, reconnect with their fans and share the spotlight once again. Look for 'The Judds' to air at 8 PM CT.

CMT is launching a new talent competition this Friday night (4/8 at 8pm CT), produced by American Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe and his son, Simon.  The series, called CMT’s Next Superstar!, will search for undiscovered singer-songwriters who think they have what it takes to make it in the country music industry. They will compete while living together in a mansion in Nashville.  But instead of just learning new songs each week, the contestants will also have to do “Celebrity Apprentice” style music business related tasks. Each week, one finalist will be eliminated and viewers will have the final vote to determine who will win the title of CMT’s Next Superstar.
