While Keith Urban was named Country’s Hottest Man, Blake Shelton has been named Hottest Groom To Be in PEOPLE Country.  Blake says,  “I’ve got to do whatever I can to look decent” in preparation for his upcoming wedding to Miranda Lambert.  “That’s the mode I’ve been in lately – I better start getting in shape and maybe even get a haircut for this thing!”  Josh Turner is the Hottest Dad, and jokes that it’s a welcome surprise to make anyone’s hot guy list:  “I sure as heck don’t feel as attractive now that I have three boys!” he says of Hampton, 4 ½, Colby, 21 months, and Marion, 3 months.  “I miss out on sleep, and with diapering and feeding, I feel like they’re putting a lot of gray hairs on my head.”

Miranda Lambert is a busy girl.  Not only is she planning a May 14th wedding, but now we learn that she has two more projects in the works.  First, Monday night Miranda introduced her latest musical venture being part of an all girl trio called the “Pistol Annies.”  They performed together in public for the first time at the ACM Girls Night Out special that was taped for playback Friday, April 22nd on CBS.  And, now we learn that Miranda is producing a television drama based on her life growing up with parents who were private investigators.  The hour-long drama series would air on the ABC Family channel and would revolve around parents who solve crimes with a little help from their two kids. Miranda would serve as an executive producer on the show.

American Idol champ Carrie Underwood says she's liking what she sees on this season of AI, especially the new judge lineup. Carrie says, "I am loving the judges...I think Steve and J-Lo are doing such an amazing job." She added, "I actually got the chance to talk to Steven Tyler, and I was like, 'I'm finding out that I like you more than I thought I did.'" Carrie explains that she's enjoyed discovering his softer side, which she calls "charming and warm and friendly and encouraging." As for who she's rooting for this year, Carrie tells MTV, "I always have a few that I'm watching, but I never say who they are." Why? Because, she says, she never liked it when past contestants picked favorites when she was on the show.

Big & Rich not only will be touring, but recording new music. That's the word from the duo, who made the announcement Sunday during an interview prior to the start of the Academy of Country Music ceremonies. "We got new music coming out next month." Big Kenny Alphin and John Rich are going into the studio in May and are looking to release a single before the end of the month. Bit & Rich also are going on the MuzikMafia tour this summer with Gretchen Wilson, Cowboy Troy and Two Foot Fred.

Darius Rucker jumped at the chance to perform with the kids from the ACM Lifting Lives Music Camp on Sunday night's ACM Awards. The camp works with kids with developmental disabilities.  The kids wrote the song Darius sang with the help of Chris Young and songwriter Brett James. Darius says of "Music from the Heart," "I got the demo. The hairs stood up on the back of my neck 'cause it was just so great."  Darius calls that ACM performance one of the greatest musical moments he's ever experienced: "When I was up there, I just felt every ounce of love that these guys have. I mean, I love these guys." Darius adds, "I can't wait for the camp so I can go hang out.
