Ashley Judd is airing her famous family’s dirty laundry and it has her mom and sister, Noami and Wynonna Judd “fighting mad” according to a family insider. In a shocking tell-all memoir, Ashley tells of being left with caregivers who used drugs and of being sexually assaulted by an older man, all while her mother, Naomi, was transforming herself into a country legend. Ashley writes, “ Naomi Judd created an origin myth for the Judds that did not match my reality.” A Judd family insider is quoted as saying, "These ugly family accusations should be discussed in private within the family, not printed and sold to the public to make a quick buck."
Ashley Judd was invited but declined to be a part of a reality series about The Judds that debuts this Sunday night at 8pm on the Oprah Winfrey Network. That, according to a family friend, was the nail in the coffin when it came to reestablishing a relationship with her mother and sister. The insider says that the three have been mostly estranged for years with very little contact. The Judds reality series will follow Naomi and Wynonna on their final concert tour. The teaser video for the show hints that Naomi has been keeping a painful secret from Wynonna that she is finally ready to reveal.
"It's like a drug. I cannot stop!" Josh Kelley says about writing country music. Josh says he wrote his first country song two-and-a-half years ago called 'Gone Like That' and was trying to get Keith Urban to record it. But that didn’t pan out, “I wanted a big cut. I promised my wife [actress Katherine Heigl] I'd buy a beach house ... I gotta make some cash here!" While the song wasn’t cut by Keith, Josh Kelley has included it on his new album “Georgia Clay.” Josh will play a special benefit concert for KFDI and the Kansas Humane Society on April 27th. Ticket info is online at kfdi.com. After our concert, Josh goes back on the road opening for Miranda Lambert and later this year, for Taylor Swift.
Here is the video to Josh's hit song "Georgia Clay."
