It seems Shania Twain has found her voice again revealing her first new song in almost six years. Video footage from her new show on OWN shows Shania rehearsing a song called “Today Is Your Day,' marking the first performance footage of Shania in more than five years. (Watch it below.) "I wrote this song in real time as the series developed. I'm mixing the record now, and by the end of the series the song should be released. I'm so excited! I can't believe it!" Shania said she was unable to sing right after her painful divorce from husband Mutt Lang. “Why Not? With Shania Twain” airs Sunday nights on Oprah’s OWN Network.
Not sure if anyone has interrupted Blake Shelton on his honeymoon to tell him that The Voice' has been renewed for a second season, just a few weeks into it’s debut run. The show has turned out to be one of the year's highest-rated new TV series, so it's hardly surprising that NBC wants to lock it in for another year. The singing contest features Blake Shelton as one of the celebrity coaches with Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green. Next season, 'The Voice' will air on Monday nights instead of Tuesdays. Of course, we haven’t heard a peep from Blake on whether he will return next season to the hit show.
Miranda took time from her honeymoon to Tweet to fans. She tweeted, "Mrs. Miranda Shelton here! Winning!!!!!", borrowing Charlie Sheen's catchphrase. Miranda is one married woman who wants to take her husband’s name. She is legally changing to Miranda Shelton, but a rep for the new bride says Miranda will keep her professional last name of Lambert when performing.
