The executive producer of the CMT Music Awards wants to save Shania Twain any more embarrassment and has announced that her tumble while walking up to the stage to present the Male Video Of The Year will be edited out of all repeats of the June 8th show. Shania called it the "most embarrassing moment of her life."  John Hamlin, the show's executive producer, says he wouldn't want to embarrass anyone, especially someone as gracious as Shania.   The clip of the fall is still floating around the internet.

Carrie Underwood has admitted she has been suffering from panic attacks since she was in high school, but it seems to be getting better. According to Carrie, panic attacks are not new for her and it started when she was in high school and shopping was her worst fear as she had to be in the midst of large crowds. Carrie does say she can sense her fans love for her and she feels wonderful and privileged to have them around her.   Carrie is building a bigger tolerance with large crowds having attended many hockey games to see husband Mike Fisher.

Keith Urban's 'Without You' has climbed to the top of both the Mediabase/Country Aircheck and Billboard country charts this week. On both charts, Brad Paisley's 'Old Alabama' falls to No. 2, followed by Blake Shelton's 'Honey Bee' at No. 3.

Brad Paisley holds on to the number-one spot on Billboard's Country Albums chart for a second straight week with This Is Country Music. It debuted at number one on the chart last week with the best first-week numbers of the year so far for a country project.

LeAnn Rimes is getting fed up by people who accuse her of having an eating disorder.  The rumours started after photos of her very thin body in a bikini surfaced from her Mexican honeymoon with new husband, actor Eddie Cibrian. LeAnn wants her fans to know that the exact opposite is true.  She is actually the picture of health. "For someone like me who is healthy, who works hard for my body, it's very frustrating," she tells People magazine. "People are calling me bulimic or anorexic, and these are real issues and diseases -- that I don't have."  The singer says she puts a high priority on her health. "I work out and take care of myself, and not in an over-obsessive way," she insists.

Martina McBride, Darius Rucker and Lady Antebellum will provide taped performances to be televised during the prime-time MDA Labor Day Telethon, set for September 4. All three were part of the Wednesday night, June 8th all star performances at the Grand Ole Opry.  Muscular Dystrophy Research is something Martina wholeheartedly supports.  She has helped on the telethon in previous years.  And, in 2004 helped fulfill a wish for a young girl with Muscular Dystrophy. MDA sends thousands of kids with muscular dystrophy to week-long summer camps each year, funds worldwide research and maintains nearly 200 clinics to help families across the U.S.

Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood are the best of friends, so it was only a matter of time before the two collaborated on a song. However, the process took longer than both expected. Carrie says getting Brad to show up at the recording studio and nail down the lyrics for their duet 'Remind Me' took some doing.  "Let me tell you something about Brad Paisley," says Carrie. "he's on 'Paisley Time.' Carrie notes. "It was the most unorganized thing I had ever been a part of." But it all worked out in the end, "I was so excited about the song once the words became established and I was so happy he didn't deliver [his album] on time. It kept it in the moment, 'Remind Me' is officially the next release off "This Is Country Music" while Brad's current single, 'Old Alabama,' is sitting at No. 1.

Jason Aldean may shock some country music fans with a song that he is planning for his next album.  But, true Aldean fans know that Jason has a rebel side to him.  So, it's no surprise that he is considering a duet with an artist that is decidedly not country.  Rumours are it will be a prominent hip hop artist on the duet.  Jason says, "Probably a pretty good chance [of collaborating with a hip-hop artist]." He hints that the song is already in the works but is cautious to watch his words, "I don't want to let the cat out of the bag on that too much.
