Toby Keith is writing songs for his daughter Krystal's debut album.  This is a new experience for Toby, since it's forced him to look at life from a female perspective. However, Krystal isn't just recording her dad's material. According to the country music industry publication "Row Fax," Toby is currently searching for some uptempo songs and ballads for Krystal's record.  No release date has been announced for Krystal's album, but it's expected to become available sometime this year.  Toby will issue the disc on his Show Dog-Universal Music label.

LeAnn Rimes is putting out a fitness video to show us all how she got that rockin' body.  LeAnn loves to post photos of herself in skimpy bikinis. Some people think her body is TOO skinny . . . and despite LeAnn's countless denials . . . there are rumors she has an eating disorder.  LeAnn's fitness trainer, Michael Jackson, wants to help her prove that she got that thin by working out. Jackson confirms, "We're in the process of putting a video together that (LeAnn) will post to her blog so that people will see what it is that we're doing to get her in shape. I know she's really anxious to show people . . . that she takes (fitness) seriously." She jumps rope, does lunges, strength training, stretching and boxing.

TAYLOR SWIFT is postponing three more concerts due to bronchitis. Tonight's show (FRIDAY) in Charlotte, North Carolina has been moved to November 16th. And her Atlanta shows on Saturday and Sunday have been rescheduled for October 1st and 2nd.

 

 

 

Even if you didn't watch "The Voice", chances are you'll be hearing from DIA FRAMPTON. She's the talented singer BLAKE SHELTON mentored on the show. Blake explains, quote, "Once Dia figures out what her plan is, you'll probably see her and MIRANDA (LAMBERT) write together." Blake Shelton also shows up on the country chart with his protégé from The Voice.  His duet with Dia, "I Wont' Back Down" comes in at #33.

 

 

Blake Shelton's 9th studio cd is coming on Tuesday, July 12th. The cd, Red River Blue, includes Blake's first ever digital Platinum single “Honey Bee.”  Blake holds the record for the fastest-selling digital Platinum single for a male country solo artist.

 

 

Chris Young will release his latest album NEON Tuesday, July 12.  The first single from the album, Tomorrow,  was recently certified by the RIAA with sales surpassing 550,000 digital downloads. Chris will be out on the road opening for Jason Aldean's My Kinda Party Tour.

 

 

In addition to his participation in next week’s celebrity softball game during Major League Baseball’s All-Star festivities, Jason Aldean will perform on the field prior to the Home Run Derby event. The special performance will take place on Monday, July 11 at 8pm ET/5pm PT and will be broadcast on ESPN. You’ll want to stay tuned in to ESPN on Monday to see Jason display his own skills on the field during the Taco Bell Legends and Celebrity Softball Game. That game will take place on Sunday, July 10, but will air on Monday immediately following the Home Run Derby.
