Eric Church has been tight-lipped about his upcoming third album, 'Chief.' Eric says he would rather let fans have a fresh experience when they buy the CD on July 26 so he hasn't released anything beyond the first single, Homeboy. Eric says YouTube can actually ruin an album release. Eric says, "I like the excitement of record day, buying that record and being able to not know what's on it, and drive around in the truck for a couple of hours. July 27 is when I'll start playing that stuff live." Carol Hughes has the entire new album and she will review it for us on KFDI.Com.

Toby Keith is in the process of producing his daughter Krystal's first album. He promised he would give her a shot at a music career as soon as she graduated college. Well, he is keeping that promise. And, Toby says he is impressed with his daughter's singing chops. "She's really a country singer. She's a throwback. She's like me, she sings hard. She's just country as cornbread. I just have to let her go with that you know?" Toby wrote the songs for the album, which is being recorded now. No release date announced. Naturally, Krystal Keith will record on her daddy's Show Dog Universal label.
