Martina McBride plans to release her new album called Eleven on October 11th.  There are eleven songs on the album, hence the title.  And Martina wrote six of them. "This is such an amazing time in my life and my career,” says McBride. “I feel like I’ve been given the support and power to go into the studio and write and create an album that pushes the boundaries of what people expect of me, while still being true to myself. I can’t wait for October 11th so that I can finally share this new music with my fans!” For more on Martina, please visit martinamcbride.com

Bonus Videos: You can’t prank the king of pranksters, Brad Paisley, very easily. Opening act on his tour, Eden’s Edge, played a mild prank on Brad by replacing his beloved West Virginia welcome mat at his tour bus door with a rival Arizona Razorback welcome mat. It was all caught on video. As was Brad’s reaction upon finding the offending replacement. He grabbed some light fluid and burned the razorback mat. You can watch both videos below:

You may think it’s nice that you can download just the songs you want from an artist without having to buy an entire album, but that is something that “bums” Trace Adkins out. Trace has sold more than ten million albums, but admits that his expectations for success for his latest CD, Proud To Be Here, are pretty low. "We just don't sell CDs like we used to," he tells Billboard, “I personally am dismayed by that, and it bums me out." Trace did sell almost 50,000 copies of the his new CD in it’s first week in release, landing him at #2 on the country album chart but finds those low stats a bitter pill to swallow. "I'm convinced this is one of the best albums I've ever done so it kinda bums me out that not a lot of people are gonna be exposed to it," he laments.

Alan Jackson is going to debut his new album with a free concert in the city that demands it most. AJ teamed with Eventful.com to put up a website so fans could demand the free concert in their hometown. Right now Dallas is in first place. But, Wichita could pick up steam if you will go cast your vote here. You have until October 10th to cast votes.
