Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert were caught in the recording studio together making a record and Blake had to fess up ((Audio)) The two aren’t making a record of themselves. They have agreed to produce Neil McCoy’s next album. Neil has become a friend to the couple after playing their wedding reception in May. While Blake and Miranda are super stars, Blake's ex-wife is living in Great Bend, Kansas having a hard time making ends meet. There has been a lot of focus on the beginnings of Blake and Miranda's relationship while he was still married. The National Enquirer’ found Blake's ex, Kaynette, living on the outskirts of Great Bend and teaching school. The ex Mrs. Blake says she ended up in Kansas because, "It just felt like Oklahoma wasn’t big enough for all of us.” A friend of Kaynette says in the Enquirer article : “Kaynette barely makes enough to make ends meet on her teacher’s salary.”
TRACY LAWRENCE is off the hook on charges that he beat up a concert promoter. The country star got into a fist fight with the promoter after his tour bus got stuck in the mud and he couldn't get it moved fast enough. Both men ended up in the hospital. But the police report indicated that Tracy got the worst of the fight with injuries about the face. The promoter is still facing charges of disorderly conduct.
Bucky Covington is also cleared of charges that he stole money from the box office take of a concert he performed in Florida over the 4th of July weekend. Bucky and his brother, Rocky, along with Rocky's wife were accused of taking more than $1,500 from a cash box. There was insufficient evidence according to the States Attorney. AllAccess.com ran a story suggesting the promoter made up the whole thing because he couldn't pay his bills.
LADY ANTEBELLUM will kick off NBC’s football season. The pregame show, “NFL Kickoff 2011,” will be SEPTEMBER 8th, at LAMBEAU FIELD in GREEN BAY, WI. The show will be broadcast from a stage outside the arena, and will air before the game between the Packers and the Saints.
Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood have hit the No. 1 with "Remind Me" on the Billboard country singles chart this week. “Remind Me” becomes Paisley’s 20th No. 1 single and Underwood’s 14th No. 1 single.
