Alan Jackson will be featured on "When Pop Culture Saved America," a two-hour documentary on A&E Biography Network honoring the 10th anniversary of 9/11. The special takes a comprehensive look at the days and months following the attacks on 9/11 to show how the non-news media pitched in to bring the nation together. Jackson was requested to be a part of the special because of the soul-touching effect "Where Were You (When The World Stopped Turning)" had on the nation. "When Pop Culture Saved America" airs Mon., Sept. 5 at 7:00pm on A&E Biography Network.
One former Dancing With the Stars champion thinks Tim McGraw would be a great contestant on the show. Donny Osmond won the reality television competition in 2009. Donny says, "I was at Tim's show the other night, and I got onstage with him, and the crowd was going crazy," Osmond said. "Tim's in pretty good shape here. He's got his muscles and the whole bit. I think he should do Dancing With the Stars!'" It's too late for this season, which has already cast celebrities like Chaz Bono, Rob Kardashian, Ricki Lake, Nancy Grace, Carson Kressley and others.
