A double good week for Jake Owen.  Jake has scored his very first No. 1 country album. Jake's 'Barefoot Blue Jean Night' tops the country chart with sales of 55,000, according to Nielsen Soundscan. The album's title track is already a No. 1 smash. "I knew it would be a hit," Jake tells The Boot of the single. "But I didn't know it would be this big. I don't know what else to base it off of, because I've never had anything like that. I've had hits on the radio, but this is different. I keep telling folks, there's a difference between a hit song and a career song, and this is a career song."

Lady Antebellum will open the NFL season tonight (9/8) at Lambeau Field as the Packers take on the Saints.  Lady A will hold a pre-kick off concert just outside of the stadium.

Another country star will have his heart in Green Bay tonight.  Cheesehead Josh Thompsons says he is ready for tonight's game and all the others that will follow. " I’m lookin’ forward to this season. First of all, I’m glad there’s a season. For a while there, it was kind of touch and go, but I’m lookin’ forward to it. I think they’re a really solid team, so I’m lookin’ forward to seein’ them repeat last year’s performance.”  Tonights game will be broadcast on NBC!

We know the details of Justin Bieber's elaborate scheme to punk Taylor Swift. Justin is taking over as head prankster on MTV's Punk'd. He chose Taylor as his first victim. Justin has her come to his beach house to write some songs. They decided to set off some fireworks. As far as Taylor knows, the fireworks she sets off set fire to a boat where a wedding was taking place, and everyone, including the bride, groom and priest, had to jump into the water to escape the flames. They blamed Swift, who apologized profusely, before being told it was all just a big ol' practical joke. No word on the air date.

Someday we could be watching Zac Brown on TV slicing and dicing on his own cooking show.  Zac is as serious about food as he is about music.  He says he is seriously thinking about doing a cooking show on TV and says he has talked it over with his wife.  Zac reveals that they have even "filmed a lot of the stuff, a lot of cooking elements" and they "defintely will do that one day."
