Carrie Underwood is one of the most dangerous celebrities on the internet. She ranked #51 in the world in a McAfee study of which famous names cyber-criminals use to lure people to sites containing malicious software. Heidi Klum is this year’s most dangerous celebrity. Ironically, Underwood is known for not making use of some of the social media platforms other stars invest time in. She doesn’t have a Twitter account. She is the only country star on the list, now in its fifth year.

 

 

The members of Lady Antebellum needed a mediator to settle some arguments. That little tidbit was slipped out by Charles Kelley, who says they weren’t always in agreement while on othe road. Charles says he’s not ashamed to admit that they had a mediator come in a few times. He says the first two years were “really hard” and the last two years have been “really easy.” Singer Hillary Scott says they didn’t employ a therapist, but a communications specialist. She says they were given pointers on how to “argue respectfully.”

 


Sugarland fans are trying to get their favorite group to be the halftime entertainment at the Super Bowl this year. Fans have created a Facebook page called “We Want Sugarland for Super Bowl 2012.” They plan to flood the NFL with calls today to ask for Sugarland to play the Super Bowl halftime show. The petition drive was started by two Indianapolis fans.

 

Brad Paisley has written a book and it's done. November 1st will be the release date for Diary of a Player, co-written by Brad with help from a Rolling Stone Magazine contributing editor/producer named David Wild. Brad says the book is a salute to the guitar heroes of the music world who influenced his love for the instrument and made him want to be a “guitar man.” Brad says he can't imagine his life without the guitar.  He says the guitar isn't just a musical instrument, "it's absolutely a rocket ship if you want it to be. It can take you anywhere." 

 


Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton are some of the first guests on a new hunting show debuting this weekend featuring Kansas hunting lodge owner and outfitter Tom McMillan.  Tom, who was Blake's best man at his wedding to Miranda, will host GAC’s new outdoors show Tom’s Wild Life. At least some of the show will be taped at Tom's deer hunting lodge in Stafford Kansas. Catch the series premiere this Sunday, September 8th, at 9pm, ET, on GAC. The Academy Of Country Music with hold their ACM Honors ceremony Monday night.  Who or what are they honoring? Garth Brooks, Taylor Swift, and Larry Gatlin from the Gatlin Brothers are being honored for their contributions to various causes over the past year.  Reba McEntire will get the Career Achievement Award for her contributions to her fellow man over her career. Performers include Rodney Atkins, the Gatlin Brothers, Randy Houser, Jack Ingram, Jamey Johnson, Montgomery Gentry, Thompson Square and Lee Ann Womack.
