BRANTLEY GILBERT deserves him huge props. He came to the rescue of a pit bull that was being abused. And gave the dog a home. It happened at a show in Macon, Georgia. Brantley says, about the dog, "There were some guys feeding her beer and bar food and kinda trying to get her drunk, and I thought it was that guy's dog. And it got time for show time and I was out back doing a meet and greet, and they got ready to come inside for the show and (the guy) threw a beer bottle at her." At that point Brantley knew it wasn't their dog and that they were just messing with it. He continues, quote, "I didn't like that a bit so (the guy) and I had a little . . . conversation. (And then) I called the dog to me. She came straight to me." He took her back to the hotel and had a friend come pick her up to take her to his house in Alabama. He named the dog Alley.

Reba McEntire doesn't have much time to slave over the stove, but she does whip up some culinary treats every now and then. Reba confesses that neither she nor her husband Narvel are big cooks though. For a peek inside Reba's kitchen, pick up the new issue of People Country, on stands now. You can also see Brad Paisley's kitchen with it's bright blue painted cabinets and tree limbs holding up the breakfast bar.
Jason Aldean tells People magazine that wearing a hat is an art, and one that few people take seriously enough. Jason says, "It's knowing how to shape it to look good on your head and your face. There's nothing worse than seeing people who buy a hat, just stick it on their heads and think it looks good. It doesn't."
