Brad Paisley likes working with American Idol winners. His is great friends with Carrie Underwood. Now, Brad has asked another Idol winner to join him on his tour. While wrapping up his H2O tour Sunday night in Raleigh, North Carolina, Brad asked Scotty McCreery to join him on stage, where he extended the invitation for the teenager to open for Brad's 2012 tour, “Do you want to go on tour with me?” McCreery nodded “yes” and Paisley told him, “Great, I’m going to take you out next year.”

Scotty McCreery will release his debut album, "Clear As Day", on October 4th just ahead of his 18th birthday. “I am so excited,” Scotty says. “This is something we’ve been working on for months now and the release date is almost here. We are super-stoked and ready for you guys to hear the music.” On Wednesday, October 5th, Scotty will perform on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. On Friday, October 7th, he will perform on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Being a rabid fan paid off for one of Eric Church's die hard followers. A fan named Aaron attended his 100th Eric Church concert last week. Eric wanted to say thanks for his continued support, so he gave Aaron the guitar he’s played on stage for several years. For guitar players, you know what a gift that is. Usually the guitars they are giving away are "stunt" guitars. Not this one! How cool. Watch the video below:

Country superstar George Strait has another passion besides music. Golf. He and a partner bought the Tapatio Springs Golf Resort northwest of San Antonio. George is an avid golfer and believes it will be "a real jewel" George says they are doing a major renovation right now, redoing all 120 rooms and sprucing up the three golf courses. He expects it to be a great vacation destination in the near future.
