Scotty McCreery is releasing his debut album, Clear As Day, Tuesday, 10/4. The build up begins today (10/3.) First up is a live chat event on the www.theboot.com at 12noon. Leave your questions for the 'American Idol' winner on The Boot's Facebook page. Then tonight, there will be a GAC special called Introducing: Scotty McCreery (8 CT.) The GAC cameras have been following Scotty since June capturing major moments plus there will be interviews with family, friends and industry professionals.
Rodney Atkins' album "Take A Back Road" goes on sale Tuesday, October 4th. "I have put a lot of time into the recording of this album and am excited to say I think it is progressive and representative of who and where I am today, " said Atkins. Montgomery Gentry will release their seventh studio album "Rebels on the Run" on October 4th, featuring 11 new songs. This will be their first album on their new label, Average Joe's Entertainment. Eddie is relieved to get the album out after what he calls a year of "nothing but hell" after going through a divorce and prostate cancer. Troy says, "This album wouldn't have been the same album if we hadn't been through everything we've been through in the last year."
The penthouse cabin is still open for Blake Shelton's fan cruise next year. Blake is hosting the cruise from Miami October 14-21, 2012. The $3,900 penthouse is still open. Trisha Yearwood's mother, Gwen Yearwood, died Saturday (Oct. 1) in Tifton, Ga., following a lengthy battle with cancer. She was 73. Gwen Yearwood recently co-wrote cookbooks with Trisha and her sister, Beth. According to The Associated Press, Trisha was with her mother when she died. In lieu of flowers, family members request that donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in funding breast cancer research.

That's what happens for Taylor Swift in the commercial for her new scent, Wonderstruck. According to Taylor, "Wonderstruck smells like the warm spicy tones of perfumes.
