Saturday night (Oct. 8) marked the Grand Ole Opry's 86th birthday and they welcomed Rascal Flatts as new members: Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney -- were inducted by fellow Opry member Little Jimmy Dickens. WAtch the video of the induction below:
ESPN has announced who will replace Hank Williams, Jr.'s opening for Monday Night Football tonight. The slot will belong to former Detroit Lions running back Barry Sanders, Motor City soul singer Jimmy Scott and a gospel choir. Sanders will preface the Lions' game against the Chicago Bears by narrating a performance that will include Scott and Selected of God Gospel Choir on the song 'Aint No Love in the Hart of the City,' a '70s soul hit for Bobby "Blue" Bland. No word yet on who might open subsequent 'Monday Night Football' telecasts, but an ESPN rep said "The spot will look different every week."
Faith Hill will return to “The 45th Annual CMA Awards” to give her first performance on “Country Music’s Biggest Night” in five years. Hill will debut the new single from her forthcoming new album due out early next year. "I've actually been in the studio a couple of times in the last six years," the 'Mississippi Girl' reveals to The Boot. "I'm just trying to find that spark, that thing that's exciting for me ... and that feels inspired and true and honest, from an honest place. It's been a creative journey ." The 45th Annual CMA Awards airs live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Wednesday, Nov. 9 on ABC.
Tim McGraw and Taylor Swift to star in possible movie? It’s just a speculated rumor right now. IMDB has Tim along with Taylor Swift on the roster for the film Paradi$e. Tim's rumored to play dad Brad Anderson and Taylor is speculated for the role of Allison Roth. Paradi$e is a drama that centers on a Hollywood family, living in lavish luxury, falling apart and trying to mend itself back together. Being in pre-production there is no more definitive information.
