‘Wheel of Fortune’ host Pat Sajak’s daughter is giving country music a spin. Maggie Sajak has released her first song, ‘First Kiss’. She is 16-years-old and Pat’s youngest. At her official website she says she’s hoping her music makes people smile. “I have always loved country music because it’s about life experiences that we all can — or eventually will — relate to.”
Neal McCoy has to go back to selling shoes in Longview, TX. Not because his singing career is over. He will return to his days as shoe salesman, specializing in women’s footwear, for Great American Country’s new series“Day Jobs,” Sunday, October 16th at 7pm. The show takes country stars back to the jobs they did before they were famous, where they work in their old profession for a day.
It’s going to be a night of duets and special musical guests on the CMA Awards show on ABC November 9th. Was just announced that Kenny Chesney and Grace Potter will perform their song “You and Tequila.” Rascal Flatts will perform their song Easy with Natasha Bettingfield and hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood will perform their hit “Remind Me” for the first time live.
The first ever Rascal Flatts live album is coming out in November. But the group's former record label, Lyric Street, is putting it out. Not their current label, Big Machine Records. Apparently, the former Lyric Street label operated by Disney owns the rights to the live material from prior to the new label deal for Rascal Flatts. To be released November 8, "The Best Of Rascal Flatts Live" will be a 10-song collection from 2011’s Top Touring Group with live versions of some of the band’s biggest hits including number one smashes “Bless The Broken Road,” “Stand,” “These Days,” and “What Hurts The Most.”
