Miranda Lambert is coming back to Wichita. This time as the headliner. With platinum album sales, chart-topping songs and a trophy case full awards, Miranda Lambert is certainly red hot. So she has named her upcoming tour the “On Fire” tour. "I'm looking forward to the tour and playing some new music from 'Four the Record' and kicking some attitude," said Miranda. "Chris and Jerrod have great shows, and we're gonna have a lot of fun out there." Her new album, 'Four the Record' is due Nov. 1. Chris Young and Jerrod Niemann will be her opening acts. The date for the Wichita show has not been announced yet.

Easton Corbin is canceling all shows for the month of October. The 29-year-old wrote on his website, "I haven't been feeling well, and after a few doctor visits, they informed me that I needed to rest. I am taking the time to get better and be 100% so that I can go back on the road and do what makes me happy, playing for all of you. Thank you for all of your love and support. Can't wait to feel better and see all of you out on the road."

The Grand Canyon turns 100 years old next year and the commission putting together the celebration has picked native son Dierks Bentley's latest single, 'Home,' as the official song for the event. Dierks said he did write the song about his boyhood home. "[It was] like, 'Wow, we're definitely gonna bite off a big one here,'" Dierks says of writing the tune. He says it was a tough song to write because he wanted it to be relatable to everybody. “At the end of the day, when we were writing the song, once we started getting into it -- you want this to be inspiring and hopeful, but also address the realities of what's going on." Here is the video for the song:

Scotty McCreery stays at the top of the Billboard Country Albums chart for a second week with “Clear As Day”. Scotty’s debut album has now sold more than a quarter of a million copies (285,000.) And, the second-place album on the country chart is Lauren Alaina's 'Wildflower.'

Carrie Underwood got the call she was waiting for.  Lauren Alaina took Carrie up on the offer to call if she needed any advice. The two exchanged phone numbers. Lauren says she called Carrie to ask her how to deal with being homesick, “How do you deal with being away from your family for so long and just being gone all the time?” Alaina says Underwood told her “‘You have to think about all the positive stuff that’s going on, because you have so much going for you right now. Your family will always be there.”‘ Alaina says “just hearing that” made her “feel 10 times better.”

Country music's biggest night will include performances by each of the acts up for the CMA New Artist of the Year. This year, nominees include the Band Perry, Chris Young, Thompson Square, Eric Church and Luke Bryan. All five will be performing on the November 9 broadcast. This will be the first time since 2008 that all New Artist nominees have scored performance slots on the show. The Band Perry are also nominated for Single and Song of the Year for “If I Die Young.” The sibling trio have five total nods going into the CMA Awards Show.
