Toby Keith has gone majorly viral with his new song "Red Solo Cup." More specifically,the video spiked with party-cam hilarity has gone viral with more than 600,000 views in just a few days. The song will be on Toby's new album, Clancy's Tavern, coming out Monday, Oct. 24th. The song celebrates the classic party beverage receptacle. The video is spiked wth celebrities and artists like Craig Ferguson; sports icons Roger Clemens and Larry Bird; fishing guru Jimmy Houston; entertainers Jeff Dunham (with Bubba J), Carrot Top and Lance Burton; Sammy Hagar, Ted Nugent, Eric Church, and Joe Nichols. The music world lost a remarkably talented man this week when Ryan “Troop” Jones of the LoCash Cowboys passed away. Ryan was just recovering from the flooding in Nashville where he literally lost everything including his house when he was hospitalized shortly after the Fourth of July for a life-threatening ulcer followed by pneumonia. He died Wednesday night, but the news wasn't released until Thursday. Ryan Jones joined the LoCash Cowboys in 2006 as their fiddle player.
After debuting hilarious fake ads for his new fragrance, Phoenix, on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” last week, Keith Urban has now released the real commercials. The three TV spots are titled “Date Night,” “Magic Bottle,” and “Phone Call.” Check out the promo spots below:
The lineup for “The 45th Annual CMA Awards” continues to grow. Sara Evans, Martina McBride, Scotty McCreery, Sugarland, and Zac Brown Band have been added to the performances for “Country Music’s Biggest Night.” Previously announced performers include Jason Aldean, The Band Perry, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Faith Hill, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, Taylor Swift, Thompson Square, Keith Urban, and Chris Young, plus Kenny Chesney and Grace Potter singing their hit collaboration “You and Tequila,” Rascal Flatts and Natasha Bedingfield singing their current hit duet “Easy,” and co-hosts Paisley and Underwood in their first live televised-performance of their No. 1 song “Remind Me.” “The 45th Annual CMA Awards,” airs live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Wednesday, Nov. 9 (8:00-11:00 PM/ET) on the ABC.
Seems now is the most wonderful time of the year for releasing Christmas albums. Arista Nashville has released "A Very Country Christmas," available only at Target. It includes traditional carols sung by Ronnie Dunn, Jake Owen, Chris Young, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Sara Evans and Kellie Pickler.
Shania Twain will duet with Michael Bublé on his new Christmas album. The pair teamed up for a version of the classic holiday hit “White Christmas.” Watch a video below of Shania laying down some of her vocals:
