Brad Paisley’s book, 'Diary of a Player,' is now on sale. It’s almost a biography. In the book, Brad chronicles his love affair with his guitar and talks about the legendary guitarists who have shaped his artistry. And he talks about his grandfather, “"I don't know that it was a guarantee that I would have made my way to the Opry or country music at all if it weren't for a grandfather who said, 'Don't let this get away from you. This could be the greatest thing that has ever happened to you in your life.'
After being on the road with George Strait for so long, Reba says she is thrilled to have her own brand new stage show for the All The Women I Am tour. “"I haven't had a brand-new stage show since the late '90s," Reba says. And, how does she come up with the songs she will sing after 34 studio albums filled with hit songs. Reba says she tries to strike a balance between personal and fan favorites for the elaborate stage show. 'What you're wanting to do is what the audience came to hear, and I want to play my own favorites. I try to mix it up” Reba says when she asks fans what song they must hear at her concert the answer is always 'Fancy.'
The Eli Young Band’s hit “Crazy Girl” is looking more and more like it will be a number one for the band. Just this week it has been certified platinum by the RIAA for being downloaded more than a million times. The Youtube video for the song has been viewed more than 6 million times. And, the song is close to being the group’s first #1 song. It’s at No. 2 this week and continues to climb. The band will perform the song this Thursday on David Letterman.
The boys of Rascal Flatts are considering a clothing line. Jay DeMarcus says plans are actually progressing. “We’re right now in the design phase but it’s definitely something we want to do. We’re really excited about the possibilities and we’ve just now started pitching the ideas to some different kinds of partners that would make sense for us to implement this.”
Blake Shelton & Miranda Lambert now own a condo in Nashville. Miranda says she is not leaving her home state of ‘Texas’ behind. "The last thing I bought was a big picture that says Texas," Miranda tells People. "I had to bring some Texas with me to Nashville so people don't question where I'm from. You see it as soon as you walk in."
