Leading up to the CMA Awards, ABC is airing an hour long special hosted by Robin Roberts.
Thompson Square will perform on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Wednesday, November 9th, following “The 45th Annual CMA Awards.” Keifer and Shawna Thompson – are nominated for both Vocal Duo of the Year and the New Artist of the Year at the 2011 CMA Awards and will perform live on the CMA Awards broadcast, also on ABC.
Brad Paisley says he and Carrie Underwood have the same kind of respect and chemistry that another great duet had years ago. He was comparing himself and Carrie to Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn. Brad says, “We have a great respect for one another, as well as similar sense of humor in some ways, and it’s a great thing to find that. I think Conway and Loretta found that. They were good friends who realized that together they made great music, and that was something that was really unique and a great, great thing to witness, and I think you’re seeing that with us.”
Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have one. Miranda Lambert wants one too. That is a scent to call her own. “I would love that actually,” Lambert tells Taste of Country. But, as of right now, the hottest little girl in country has no plans for her own fragrance. But if one were developed, Miranda says one thing is for sure, it wouldn’t be sweet smelling.
Keith Urban is going to be just like Blake Shelton, only in Australia. Keith has signed on to be one of the mentor coaches on the Aussie version of The Voice. It will be taped next year. Well after Keith has healed from his throat surgery planned for the end of November.
Billy Currington is being stalked by his next door neighbor. Billy says the neighbor is spying on him with with a telescope and binoculars. What’s more, it’s been going on for six months. Billy laid out the story in a series of Twitter posts. First he Tweeted, quote, "Just found out this guy has been watchin' me thru a telescope and binoculars from his house for six months. So creepy." And then this Tweet, quote, "I know this 'cause he knocked on my back door and told me this and that he knows when I come and go and says he wants to take me fishin'." Billy didn’t Tweet anything about pressing charges.
