Tim McGraw will be in court with his record label, Curb Records, Tuesday trying to get a judge to allow the singer to record under a different record label. Last year, Curb records sued Tim for putting out new music too soon after his previous record when he delivered the Emotional Tour album to them less than 18 months after Southern Voice was released. Apparently, Tim is contractually obligated to wait at least 18 months between albums. Tim countersued, saying the label stretched out the 5 albums he contractually agreed to make, over 20 years creating an environment of “involuntarily servitude.” Read more at Tennessean.com here.

Six months after a fire destroyed his Nashville home, Trace Adkins and his wife Rhonda are breaking ground on the new home on the same property. Speaking with Taste of Country, Trace said the new home will be a relatively modest home rather than a garish mansion. "We're just not into that," Trace told the website. "We want it to be warm and welcome. It's going to be reasonable. It's not going to be ridiculous." The one extravagance, if you can call it that, is the planned swimming pool -- something the previous home didn’t have. The pool wasn’t Trace’s idea he said. "I've heard that the new one is going to have a pool, so I guess I'm finally going to be one of those snooty home owners that has a pool," Trace said.
Blake Shelton’s mom, Dorothy, is a crafter and she is now selling her handywork online at Crossbility.com. Dorothy writes on the site that she started making and selling these gift items after retiring from her 40-year career as a hairdresser. I recently retired from the business and soon became bored and broke! LOL! Therefore, with the help of my husband, Mike, Crossibility.com was born! He does the dirty woodwork of cutting and sanding the designs and I get to do the fun stuff....decorating! The items range from decorated crosses to a full section of items inspired by Blake and Miranda Lambert's music.
