Rascal Flatts was chosen for a 2011 star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame but the band still doesn't have the star in place. The Walk Of Fame committee says they haven't gotten an official acceptance to their offer. Back in June when the announcement was made, Gary, Joe Don and Jay seemed thrilled with the offer. “I am at such a loss for words that I can’t even describe how I feel,” said Gary LeVox.

 

It may seem like things have come pretty easily for Brad Paisley, but they haven't, and he wants you to know that. Brad says, quote, "I cringe every time I read 'The Charmed Life of Brad Paisley' in 'Country Weekly' or 'People' or something, you know, because I do look like I've got it made . . . and I don't have it made. Brad says he cringes because the 'charmed life' everyone thinks he lives leaves out all the sleepless nights in the studio and the years and years of work.

 

The “2011 CMT Artists of the Year”, taped in Nashville a week ago, will air this Tuesday, December 13 at 8pm on CMT and CMT.com.  This is the second annual television special celebrating the year’s most successful country acts, The “CMT Artists of the Year” are Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley and Taylor Swift. 

 

When it comes time to break out the annual holiday decorations, Ronnie Dunn says he’s a dedicated husband, "My wife is crazy about it. I mean, there’s stuff everywhere. That time of year I have to go upstairs in the attic and pull all the stuff down in the boxes and unpack that stuff. And you know, once we get it out, it’s all pretty.”  Ronnie’s all-new recording of the classic “Silent Night.” is included on the new A Very Country Christmas collection on sale at Target.

 

Jerrod Niemann likes one particular holiday tradition a lot......mistletoe.  He explains, "Even in the spirit of Christmas, we have to figure out a way to make-out, so now we have the mistletoe. And I don’t, I mean, I don’t know if this offends anybody, but I just kind of keep my mistletoe hanging in every door of my house, all year round. You know, because, one, I am very giving and, you know, the spirit of Christmas is amongst us, and I think that, you know, there’s nothin’ wrong with makin’ out every time you walk through a doorway during the holidays.”
