Jason Aldean celebrating the end of the biggest year of his career.   His "My Kinda Party" is officially the top-selling country album of 2011. "iTunes’ has also named it the “Country Album of the Year” and it came in at No. four on Billboard’s all-genre Year End Top 200 Albums chart. What's next for Jason?  Well, he is looking forward to being anything but a country superstar, "It’s been the most incredible year, and I’m lookin’ forward to some quiet time in the woods this Christmas, so I can really just spend some time reflecting on how much we accomplished and how grateful I am for all the support that the fans and my peers in the music business have given me.”  We are still waiting on official confirmation that Jason Aldean will play Intrust Bank Arena in 2012.  He has the concert, without a date, listed on his tour listing for next year.

Faith Hill will perform at 2012 People’s Choice Awards, LIVE from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 (8:00 PM), on CBS. The People’s Choice Awards are the only major awards show where fans determine the nominees and winners across categories of movies, music and television. “We are so lucky to have Faith Hill on board to perform at the People’s Choice Awards,” said Executive Producer Mark Burnett. “Her experience, mainstream appeal and status as one of the top female performers of our time make her the perfect addition to our telecast. I am proud to make this major announcement, the first of many to come for the 2012 show.” Her new single, “Come Home,” was released on November 9th and her new album is due in stores early 2012.

Taylor Swift has revealed what kind of ornaments she will put on her Christmas tree this year.  No gold and silver for Taylor. The reigning Billboard Woman of the Year is decorating their Christmas tree with ornaments she and her brother, Austin, created as children. "It's so nostalgic," she explains, "looking back at all the Christmases past and comparing them to how different our lives are now." Taylor's Christmas plans have her putting her career on hold for a few weeks and spending time with her mom, dad and brother.

Growing up in Australia, Keith Urban didn't dream of a white Christmas, since the holiday falls right in the middle of their summer. “Christmas was always about going to the beach. And my fondest Christmas memory is about getting in the station wagon with my mom, dad, my brother, and me, and going to the beach for the day.”  That didn't mean that Keith didn't have the same experiences as all kids, when it came to waiting to see what Santa brought on Christmas morning, "I got a yellow Tonka truck when I was about six, I think. Probably still my favorite Christmas gift ever. Uh, those things last forever, too."
