Country star and TV host Craig Morgan is up for eight Golden Moose Awards for his "All Access Outdoors" tv show on the Outdoor Network. Craig was nominated for Best Overall Series, Fan Favorite Hunting Series, and Fan Favorite Host, Best Big Game Hunt, Best Deer Hunt, Best Hunting Blooper, Best In Turkey and Best In Graphics. The 12th Annual Golden Moose Awards will be given out in Las Vegas on January 19. "Craig Morgan: All Access Outdoors" is The Outdoor Channel’s top-rated hunting program.

FOX News Channel (FNC) is going to party on the air on New Year’s Eve, and they have asked Trace Adkins and Big & Rich to perform. Fox News program hosts Megyn Kelly will play host to the "All American New Year," on December 31, 2011 starting at 10pm liive from Times Square in New York. Viewers will be encouraged to participate in the program by texting special holiday messages which will appear on a screen ticker throughout the entire show.

 

The state of Indiana has settled with 63 of the 65 victims from August’s stage collapse before a Sugarland show at the Indiana State Fair. According to KRTV in Indianapolis all but $2,000 of the $5 million of the settlement money has been claimed. The estates of the seven people killed will receive $300,000 each. The remaining money will be distributed amongst the 58 people who were injured. The lawsuit that was filed on behalf of 51 victims (including the seven killed) against Sugarland, concert promoters and those who built the stage is still awaiting a court date. It states the band had the final say on whether or not the show would go on.

Scotty McCreery has retaken his place at the top of Billboard's country albums chart. "Clear As Day" has returned to number one, switching places with Lady Antebellum's "Own The Night." Lady A drops to number two, with Jason Aldean's "My Kinda Party" coming in at #3.

Zac Brown Band's "Keep Me In Mind" is the top country single this week on the Billboard chart. Last week's #1, Lady Antebellum's "We Owned The Night" slipped to number 3 with Jason Aldean's "Tattoos On This Town" sliding in the #2 spot.
