Scotty McCreery is releasing his calendar for the rest of the year. It looks like this: Go on tour with Brad Paisley. End tour in time to pitch for his high school baseball team this spring. Graduate high school. Enroll in college. Start college in the fall. But the American Idol winner does say he plans a parttime college class schedule. "That's going to be ... another monster," he tells Nashville's Tennessean. "But we're going to figure out a way to do [it]. It might take me 50 years to get a degree, but I want to get there and go to college." Scotty will hit the road with Brad, and fellow opening act the Band Perry this Thursday (January 12) in Grand Rapids, Michigan. And, he comes to Wichita a week later on January 20th.

Nearly a year after it was released, David Nail's Let It Rain has reached #1. The song from David's album "Sound of A Million Dreams" is his first number one. "When you're 25 weeks in and you believe in a song, but you're stuck in the middle of the chart, it's hard to think you're gonna get there," Nail said, "and yet, you can't think that it won't go all the way. I am a very blessed and lucky man...because not only did my label never give up on me, but so many people at country radio hung in there with us, too. Nail, who released the song 48 weeks ago, takes over the top from Zac Brown Band's Keep Me In Mind.
