Scotty McCreery is releasing his calendar for the rest of the year.  It looks like this:  Go on tour with Brad Paisley.  End tour in time to pitch for his high school baseball team this spring.  Graduate high school.  Enroll in college. Start college in the fall.  But the American Idol winner does say he plans a parttime college class schedule. "That's going to be ... another monster," he tells Nashville's Tennessean. "But we're going to figure out a way to do [it]. It might take me 50 years to get a degree, but I want to get there and go to college." Scotty will hit the road with Brad, and fellow opening act the Band Perry this Thursday (January 12) in Grand Rapids, Michigan. And, he comes to Wichita a week later on January 20th.

How cool would it be to have a bracelet made from the used guitar strings of your favorite artist? Wear Your Music is a an organization that handcrafts Original Artists Bracelets from used and donated guitar strings, then sells them and gives the money to the artists' charities. For instance, you can pick up a Tim McGraw guitar string bracelet for $150, with 100 percent of profits going to his Tug McGraw Foundation. Or, buy a $150 Toby Keith used guitar string bracelet and 100% goes to the Toby Keith Foundation. Craig Morgan's bracelet goes for $200, with profits going to the Craig Morgan Charitable Fund, and Willie Nelson, whose $100 piece benefits Farm Aid. Nearly a year after it was released, David Nail's Let It Rain has reached #1. The song from David's album "Sound of A Million Dreams" is his first number one. "When you're 25 weeks in and you believe in a song, but you're stuck in the middle of the chart, it's hard to think you're gonna get there," Nail said, "and yet, you can't think that it won't go all the way. I am a very blessed and lucky man...because not only did my label never give up on me, but so many people at country radio hung in there with us, too.  Nail, who released the song 48 weeks ago, takes over the top from Zac Brown Band's Keep Me In Mind.

Blake Shelton has been labeled "Fun and fearless" by Cosmo magazine. Blake has been named one of their “Fun Fearless Males” for 2012. The magazine says women fantasize about have the country star sing them to sleep every night! What attracted Blake to his wife, Miranda Lambert?  He tells the magazine, "a woman who is not insecure gets me. I understand it’s gotta be tough to be a girl. But a woman who doesn’t give a crap if I notice her? That drives me crazy. That’s something Miranda has."
