Blake Shelton has a message for people who may not watch the premier of The Voice on Sunday, February 5th after the Superbowl,"If you don't watch The Voice after the Super Bowl, then you probably don't have any friends." A video preview of Season 2 of The Voice is now posted at NBC.com, or you can watch it below. Miranda Lambert and Kelly Clarkson will be Blakes advisors for his team this season.  He says he picked Miranda, not because she is his wife but because she survived a talent show.  And, of course, so did Kelly Clarkson.

The guy who wrote that posted on Saturday was Jake Owen, the day after getting two wisdom teeth pulled. And the Tweet also includes a post-surgery video taken by his mom where he's still groggy from the sedatives. He even shows off the two teeth that were pulled.

Billboard has announced a new mini magazine dedicated only to country music. It will be sold at Target retail stores nationwide and at Target.com for $4.99.

Carrie Underwood is finished recording her next album. According to an "American Idol" fan blog, Carrie will be doing photo shoots this week for the album and she is planning to shoot videos for the album's first two singles later this month.

 

 

 

Producers for Saturday Night Live may be looking at Blake Shelton as a future guest host on the show. Kelly Clarkson was the musical guest this past Saturday night and she said they asked her who she would suggest as a host. She immediately suggested Blake. Then she tweeted, "We should rally for that! He'd be hilarious!" She goes on to say, "Maybe the entire cast of The Voice hosting would be funny too! I have great ideas." It would be fun but maybe the most censored Saturday Night Live in history.

 

He can't hold it yet, but Eric Church's two-month-old son Boone McCoy already owns his first guitar.  Daddy Eric says, "I wanted to buy a guitar that was from the year he was born. I wanted it to be something that, when the time came, I could tell him the significance of it, whether he plays guitar or not. It's not something I'm gonna push. I just think it's a neat thing to give something like that to your kid."
