 Super Bowl Sunday just got a whole lot more super. Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert will perform "America the Beautiful" together prior to the game while Kelly Clarkson was just announced as the performer for the National Anthem. Dierks Bentley and Darius Rucker will also perform during the pregame festivities.

 

 


The people's choice for country entertainer of the year is Taylor Swift. The People's Choice awards were handed out Wednesday night with Taylor taking the top country honors.

 


 

Scotty McCreery’s debut album, Clear As Day, has been certified platinum for sales of more than 1 million in just three months after its release."It means the world to me," he says. "Clear As Day debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 and Top Country Albums charts, making Scotty the youngest man in history to open at the top of the all-genre chart with a debut release.

 

 

Faith Hill is featured in the upcoming InStyle, out Friday (1/13). In the magazine’s "Beauty Talk" feature, Hill shares tips on how to get perfect messy waves, glowing skin and more. "Drink water," she says as her "Best Beauty Advice." "I drink about 90 ounces a day, and I’m always reminding everyone around me to do the same."

 


The Band Perry’s Kimberly Perry is featured in Fitness magazine’s " Celebrity Resolutions: Health And Fitness Goals For 2012." "Since time is precious, my goal is to keep combining workouts with quality time," she says. "Spending time with the family and friends while jogging, doing a Zumba DVD or any other bonding activity that is good for your heart in more ways than one."

 



Reba McEntire will uncover more about her personal history next month when she appears on the NBC series "Who Do You Think You Are". The show allows celebrities to trace their family history and travel around the world to the places where their ancestors came from. This is the third season of NBC-TV’s Who Do You Think You Are?, which premieres Feb. 3. No word on when Reba's episode will air.

 


Keith Urban fans are again being encouraged to send in toy monkeys through Keith’s fan club Monkeyville, to donate to an organization that benefits abused, neglected and needy children. You can mail one or more stuffed monkeys to be received no later than Feb. 8th to allow time for distribution.
